Hi, I’m Wendy… but everyone calls me Wendy Lu! 💕

Yes, like Wendy Lou Who from Whoville — because I’m a little spunky, a little silly, and have a heart full of love!

I had a rough start in my foster home because being left alone made me pretty anxious. But with lots of love, patience, and reassurance, I’ve come SO far. I’ll still need a family willing to give me a little extra patience while I learn that my new home is safe and my people always come back.

My favorite part of the day is morning yard zoomies with my foster brother and sister. I love other dogs, kids, cats, and pretty much any human willing to play or cuddle with me. I also take my job as Head of Home Security very seriously. If someone comes near the house, don’t worry — I WILL let you know.

I have free range of my foster home and do great, and at night I love sleeping at the foot of my foster parents’ bed. I’m an expert cuddler and firmly believe there is no such thing as too many pets.

I’m still figuring out toys and fetch. You throw it…and then expect ME to bring it back? Weird. I’m also working on leash walking. For every mile you walk, I’ll happily walk three thanks to my impressive zigzag technique.

My newest hobby is counter surfing. If you leave food unattended, I consider that a donation. My foster family says we’re “working on it.” I say we have different opinions about food waste. 😂
